Error message in outlook

Over the past couple of days i have been recieving an derror message when
trying to open a URL or hyper link recieeved within an email:
"This operation has been canceled due to restrictions in effect on this
computer. Please contact your system administrator."
I have tried altering permission settings in Outlook, the firewall and
profile settings without any luck.
Can anybody offer any suggestions please??

The issue is caused by your default browser not properly registered in
Windows.
