error message in posting items to calendar

I keep getting this message when I enter new items in my
calendar:

"The reminder "..." Will not appear because the item is
not in your calendar or tasks folder"

What does this mean, and how can I correct this?

I'm not sure what folder I am creating the item in. I am
just adding new appointments in Calendar. Does this answer
your question?

Not exactly... try using the folder tree to see which folder you're in.

one under my Archive Folders and one under Outlook Today.
