error message in Word

Ever since I installed Microsoft Service Pack 2 and the latest service pack
for Office I get the following message when I double click on a Word
document: "This command could not be completed because a dialogue window is
open. Close the window and try again". When I click on "OK" the document
opens without a problem.

Hi, vcp3219. Disable the Office Plugin that comes with Symantec/Norton
AntiVirus. See http://support.microsoft.com/?kbid=329820 "How to use Office

Thank you so much! This will be helpful for all office docs. I hate it when I
have to wait for virus checks on docs that I'm working on on my own computer.
