error message: low memory

we have a new system (WinXP, 80GB HDD, 512MB RAM, 2.3GHz
processor) and are trying to open MS Publisher 2000 files
created on Win98 system.

Using same copy of Pub2k, we get the following error
message:

Not enough memory to load graphics or embedded objects.

we can edit and save, but can't print.

any thoughts?

Gary

Printer is an hp 1200. most current driver is installed,
however their sight has some recommendations around on-
screen error messages. I'll look there and let you know
what happens.
