Error message - Microsoft Framework Library

When I open Excel and Word I always get an error message saying - "An
unexpected error occurred while trying to load the Microsoft Framework
Library". What does this mean and how can I stop it from appearing
every time? Many thanks!!

A framework library error usually means that one of the updates went
wrong. Reapply the latest update, and the problem should disappear. Did
you perform the update manually by downloading the updater from the
Mactopia website, or did you run Microsoft AutoUpdate?
