I'm running Windows XP prof. and Office XP prof. as well as Trend Micros
PC-cillin Internet security 2006. My problem is when the vulnerability scan
from the Trend runs, it gives me an error saying that Office Patch (MS07-015)
is not installed. I've run the windows and office updates, no missing
updates found. I've looked at add/remove programs, the update is there.
I've looked at the installed office update history list at microsoft's
website and it's there as well. I tried downloading the patch manually and
it said the patch was previously installed. I contacted Trend, they
suggested removing the update and reinstalling it and running the scan again.
I did that and am still getting the error message. Trend is now telling me
to contact microsoft to find out what Ports are being used with this Patch,
so they can be blocked with the firewall. I don't exactly know what they
mean, new user. Has anybody experienced this problem before and would
anybody know what ports are being used, so I can pass the info. along to
Trend and hopefully get this issue resoved? Thank You, Herb.
