Error message: MSWord non-responsive program when I try to saveas

All of a sudden, I am no longer able to create MS Word 2003 documents and
save them. When I click on save as and make a selection for a folder in my
documents, the system gets locked up (all I see is an hour glass). I then go
to Windows task manager and see that MSWord is not running. As I proceed to
exit, I am asked if I want an error report sent to Microsoft. I repeatedly
say "yes". Once the report is sent, I get no feedback from Microsoft.

Can someone please assist so I can once again create Word Documents and save
them in my folders. Thanks.

I started getting the same error yesterday. I rebooted my computer, but the
problem remained. If anyone can please help, I would appreciate it
