Error message: Not enough memory to perform operation?

Kim

I am using Windows XP. Trying to open any of my Word documents, and getting the message:

"Not enough memory or disk space to perform operation...Word cannot display the requested font"

I have not changed any of the fonts. I do remember recenlty opening an internet Word file, where the fonts may have been different.

How can I fix this to be able to access my Word files?

I'm about two notches ahead of you on the problems list--
and I am discouraged to see that you are experiencing one
of my problems with my 98 Windows. I have been trying to
talk myself into upgrading to Windows XP--but if that has
the same problems, I don't know what to turn to next. Let
me know if you find a "fix"! Marcia
