Error message on two notebooks.

Hi there,

I am getting the following error in Publisher 2007 on 2 notebooks running
Vista. I have tried running a repair on Office but it did not help.

"The color scheme registry key is either missing or corrupt. Run Setup again
to reinstall the color scheme registry"

Any ideas?

Thanks

Tony

Did you try to run setup again?
Do a Office Diagnostic found under help. Strange this error would appear on two
different computers. Did you use the same disk for both installations?

Thanks Mary for your reply.

I am not sure if I did use the same disk.

I will try your suggestions tomorrow and post a response.

Hello,
Tony 4X4 did not post a response, but I am having the exact same problem
with Publisher 2007, error message regarding the "color scheme registry key"
and I have run all of the updates, run the Office Diagnostics successfully
and without any errors, un-installed and re-installed using the same disc as
the original.

Office 2007 Small Business Edition
Windows Vista Business Edition

Please help me. Is there a more thorough un-install that I should have
performed to really clean out all previous settings? Or is this an inherent
problem with Publisher? Please help. TIA.
