Error message - Operation Must Use An Updateable Query

I have a Microsoft Access 2000 database which I run in Microsoft Access 2003.
In this database I run queries which update tables which runs fine. When
this database is run on another machine with Microsoft Access 2003, an error
message occurs - Operation Must Use an Updatebale Query. There are no
securities on this database and the Macro Security is set to low. Anyone
have any ideas why it works on one comupter and not on another?
