Error message Ox800CCC92

I just got a new computer and lodaded office 2002. I keep getting this error
code Ox800CCC92 everytime I try to send and receive. I can send e-mail but I
cant retrieve them. My web mail is working. Also before that error message
comes up I get a popup asking for network password. I am not on a network.
Can anyone shed some light on my problems?
