Error message received now cannot access PWA 2007

I received the following error message while updating a Category in PWA 2007,
when the job failed it also kicked me out of PWA 2007 stating Error: Access
Denied

Any suggestions?
We are using Project Server 2007 & PWA 2007

Your SynchronizeSingleUserMembershipInWss job failed. Its current state is
FailedNotBlocking. It was 80% complete. It entered the queue at 04/10/2008
09:58:56.

To get more information about the job failure, please go to Project Web
Access. Select Personal Settings from the left menu. Then select My Queued
Jobs.

The errors returned from the queue are as follows:
Error ID: 26000

Detailed error below - send it to the administrator for more detailed
troubleshooting.

You can do the following:
1. Try troubleshooting using the error IDs, error XML.
2. Contact administrator with your jobID
(928f0cf0-6ed2-4205-af6e-11cb50a5036c) and error XML.

Sorry I did not get a notice that there was a response here.
The problem fixed itself after time...
They category was changed as I had requested and updates to project server
were completed. I believe it was just a lag in updating Project Server ....

I seem to have the same issue with one of my master projects on the server.
The odd part is, the system does not force check-in the praticular project.
The system info stated that the project remains checked out for the errored
user account.
