I am unable to send a grooup distribution message in Outlook and receive
following error message: Message could not be sent; one of the recipients
was rejected by the server. '553 Invalid address syntax' How can I
determine which of the 53 addresses is the problem?

There is no easy way.

1. You could check each e-mail address to see if there is an obvious
problem - open the e-mail and double click each recipient to view their name
and e-mail address.
2. You could send separate e-mails to each one to see which bounced back.

I am not sure if this is appropriate for you but you want to look at
something like eMailMerge 4Outlook.
http://www.addins4outlook.com/emailmerge/default.asp
This addin can be used to send a separate e-mail addressed to each sender.
You only need to create the e-mail once and the addin will do the rest
including personalizing each copy if you want.

This way the problem e-mail will bounce back while all others will still go
through.
