Error Message reminder cannot be set becasue its time has passed

Have a user using Outlook 2000, and when they set an
appointment or Reminder in Calandar (anything after
today's date) they get the following error Message:
reminder cannot be set becasue its time has passed is this
ok

I have recreated both Windows/Outlook profile, installed
all latest service patches. When the user logs onto
another PC the fault follows??

Any ideas???
