I have signatures set for new messages or replies - no issues for a long
time. Last night I applied several Microsoft Office patches.
This morning when I opened Outlook I got a message saying it could not find
speech recognition software and asked if I wanted to install it. (Perhaps
overly trustingly) I said "Yes", and an apparent silent install took place.
Now when I create a new message or reply to one in Outlook, I get a message
saying "The signature "LMcQ-Sig" could not be located. The signature may
have been removed". However, my signature file is in the Signatures folder
still.
What could be causing this? Might it be related to the patches or to the
installation of speech recognition software?
Thanks!
