hi, can anyone help, a week ago my pc crashed, i am now unable to reload
outlook 2000, the message i get is the system administrator has set policies
to prevent this installation, can anyone advise what i should do please, many

Contact your system administrator or (if you are a home user), log in with
the administrator account.

i am a home user and tried that already but i still get the same message?

In that case use Control Panel-> Add/Remove Programs to remove Office 2000
completely and then reinstall it again. Don't forget to install Office 2000
Service Pack 3 and additional updates afterwards.

Does Outlook start in Safe Mode?
Start-> Run; outlook.exe /safe

If so, your issue is most likely caused by an addin.

hi, no it won't run in safe mode either
