I made some changes to a personal website and now, for some reason, I can
get them to publish because of the error message of <there is no web named
"/">
I've not seen this before in many years of casually fooling around with
Front Page 2000 to make and publish my personal website on my ISP's servers.
I've checked out the MS knowledge base article regarding changing the
Services.cnf file in the folder VTI_PVT. There is no such .cnf file in the
VTI_PVT folder.
I whipped up a fresh webpage and attempted to publish it, first deleting the
old one through the Tools menu item in Front Page, not simply deleting the
folders using Windows Explorer. I got the same error message. Does anyone
have any ideas as to what the problem is and how to fix it?
Thanks for any help!
