Error Message to many different cell formats MS Office 97 (Excel)

Situation: After receiving this error message I am unable to open my Excel
file. I still have important information on it I still need.

Question: How can I open this Excel file to access and save this information.

Try opening the file on a different machine. (preferably with a more recent
Office version).
