Error Message "Unable to obtain list of tables..."

Not-a-Pro-Though

After switching to Windows Vista and Office 2007, I get a screen with the
error message: "Unable to obtain list of tables from the data source" every
time I try to do a mail merge. Before it worked just seamlessly.
What does it mean and how can I fix it.
