Error message upon opening

I recently put My office 2002 suite on my new XP laptop. All of the aps work
alright except for Word. When it opens I get this message, "This file
contains macros with an expired or revoked signature. Since you are running
under High Security Level, these macros will be disabled."

What does that mean and how do I fix it?

Frankly it means what it says - you presumably have some form of add-in
loading with Word that is triggering the response.
The simplest plan is to set Word's macro security to medium, which will give
you the option to trust document macros, and to trust installed templates
and add-ins which will allow macros in your templates (and those loading in
the Word start-up folder) to work without flagging the message.

If you have not installed add-ins, it might be a plan to find out what it is
that is trying to load -
http://word.mvps.org/FAQs/AppErrors/ProbsOpeningWord.htm should help resolve
the issue.
