error message upon startup

Hi, I recently installed Office XP on a new computer
running XP Pro. Every time I open Word or Excel, I get
an error message with a Microsoft Visual Basic heading
saying "Compile error in hidden module: AutoExec". Error
doesn't show up when opening PP or Access. Clicking "OK"
clears the error message & programs run fine but it's
irritating. I ran the repair utility from the Office XP
disc but no change. Any help greatly appreciated.
