I have an end user who is getting an error while trying to
add or update his contacts list. Whenever he tries to add
a user, or update the user's information (due to security
token requirements) he is receiving the following error:
"Some names could not be added to the personal address
book. The action could not be completed."
The user is running Outlook 2000 on a Win2k OS, all
current service packs installed. I did find a mention on
the TechNet about this, but it referred to OL97, and
claimed that when the error appears in OL2000 that the
contact is added, which is not the case in this
situation. The contact is not added, and the error
message is a constant.
Any suggestions on what to look for here would be
appreciated.
