Error message when building queries

Hi,

I have an itermittent error that comes up lately when I'm building queries.
Even when I let the program name the query, it can come up.

"<name of query> is not a valid name. Make sure that it does not include
invalid characters or punctuation and that it is not too long."

I have several queries that have really long names, and had no trouble.
Others, I can have three words and it will refuse to build the query.

Any ideas how to resolve this? It is really frustrating!

Hi Jen,

The only characters that I am aware of that are illlegal are !"£$%^
etc.

If it only something that started happening recently then I would try
repairing the database file and re-installing access.
