Error message when closing Word 2007

I am using Office 2007 with Windows XP. When I close out of Word 2007, I
receive an error message 98% of the time saying Word has experienced a
problem, and that my file may be corrupt. It doesnt' matter if the document
was created in Word 2007 or an older version. Everything's fine if I just
close the document but leave the program open. Once I exit the program
however, the error message will pop up.

Any ideas what might be going on?

It sounds like you have an incompatible add-in that has modified the Auto
Close macro. Check for Macros and Add-ins that you have installed and try to
diagnose which is the problem one.
