Error message when creating a report

When I am trying to create a reoirt I am getting the following error " You
have chosen feilds from record sources which the wizard can't connect. You
may have chosen fields from a table and from a query based on that table. If
so, try choosing fields from only the table or the query." I thought when
you create a query you use the information from a table. Please help.

Well you can, but you would pull the data into the query.

In other words, make your query show all the data you want, then use that
query to build your report. If you want data from more than one table,
include both tables and the needed fields in your query.
