My boss has an on-going problem with Excel. If he opens a
spreadsheet/workbook and closes it within approximately 1 minute (just
looking up a data item), he receives an error message:
"Microsoft Office Excel has encountered a problem and needs to close. We
are sorry for the inconvenience."
Of course, Excel has already been closed. He has uninstalled and
reinstalled Excel without success.
Since he does this a lot throughout the day, it is very annoying. I've
researched the Forum and found only one similar question on July 9th, 2007
from Simon2, but there were no respondants to that question.
Any advise would be appreciated.
