Error message when sending attachments

I'm having trouble e-mailing anything that has a large attachment (mostly
photos, around 4-5mb). When I try to send, the message stays in my outbox,
and never gets sent. It eventually times out and I end up getting "unknown
error 0x80040109". Occasionally, an e-mail with an attachment will get
through, but the majority of them don't. It seems entirely random.

I have two e-mail accounts that I use with outlook, and I get the same
results with either account.

Any ideas?
