Server: Windows Server 2003 R2 Standard Edition (SP2)
Server: Windows Exchange Server 2003 Standard Edition - Version 6.5 (Build
7638.2: Service Pack 2)
Client Machine: Outlook 2003 as part of MS Office Professional 2003 (SP3)
When a user try to open a particular Outlook distribution list in Outlook
2003, an
error message occur. (Other distribution lists opens fine)
"Can't open this item. There is not enough memory available on the
Microsoft Exchange Server computer to perform the operation. Contact your
system administrator."
* Checked there are over 10GB of free space on the server.
* Tried to open the Distribution list using a different machine, but the
same error message occur.
* Microsoft KB 894530 seems to show the exact error message, with a hotfix,
but it recommends waiting for the next software update that contains the
hotfix.
Could you advice which software update should be installed? Is there any
other ways to open this problematic distribution list? or increase the DL
limit?
Many thanks in advance,
Will
