Error message when trying to save doc as a PDF in Word or Pub 2007

I keep getting this message that the document is locked or in use by another
application or person. I am the only one on the PC and do not have multiple
copies open. Has anyone had this problem and conquered it

It suggests either an AV problem or abandoned temp files.

If you use Norton AV or Kaspersky AV, try disabling the Office plug-in
option.

Also navigate to the user temp folder and with all applications closed,
delete everything you find in there.

If it still fails, make sure you have the latest Office PDF add-in and
reinstall it.
