Holiday Issue with Calendar in Outlook

I've been using a new laptop for about 3 weeks and it was working fine until
I received the following message on starting Outlook 2007 with Business
Contact Manager:

Business Contact Manager database cannot be loaded.
This action cannot be completed because the Business Contact Manager cannont
access the database.
Unable to open the physical file “C:\Documents and Settings\Colin
Condren\Local Setting\Application Data\Microsoft\Business Contact
Manager\MSSmallBusiness.mdfâ€.
Operating system error 5: “5(Access is denied.)â€.
Cannot open database “MSSmallBusiness†requested by the login. The login
failed.
Login failed for user ‘CAC-D620\Colin Condren’.
File activation failure. The physical file name “C:\ Documents and
Settings\Colin Condren\Local Setting\Application Data\Microsoft\Business
Contact Manager\MSSmallBusiness.ldf†may be incorrect.

Do you want to change the database configuration?

Note: I am using a Dell Latitude D620, running Windows XP (SP2) with Office
2007 for Small Business. To date I had enabled BCM, but not started using it
so there are no Contacts currently in BCM. However, there are approximately
2000 Contacts in the Outlook Contacts folder.

These two bits: "File activation failure" and "about 3 weeks", make me
suspect that the evaluation period for the Office installed by the
laptop vendor has expired.

If you don't use BCM, you can uninstall it.

Holiday Issue with Calendar in Outlook

Thanks for the info. I do use BCM (or am just starting to use it). At first
blush, it appears to be a useful program but they missed the boat by not
making it compatible with Blackberry devices. Having to export "Business
Contacts" in BCM to "Contacts" in Outlook in order to synch with a Blackberry
is a critical mistake. Especially since it would appear that BCM was
designed to cater to the business user in the first place.

I am having this same issue every since I added a password to my user account. Did you ever get a solution to your issue. If so can you let me know what it was.
