ERROR MESSAGE WITH PP

2 things-Error message: unexpected error occured while loading microsoft framework library.
This might have to do with the above, when I try to choose a slide design, the program freezes and I have to re-boot.

Hi Radgal -

Framework errors are usually associated with missing or incomplete updates
which can definitely produce that type of behavior. Use Help> Check for
Updates to make sure 11.5.1 is your current update level, then repair disk
permissions to be on the safe side.

Thanks, I currently have 11.5.0 and my mac is 10.5, I tried to download the 11.5.1 and it gave me: Installer could not locate correct version of software required to install update. My office is student and teacher edition, does that make a difference?

Student/Teacher Edition of Office makes no difference at all but OS X should
be at 10.5.4, so I'd suggest you get that caught up first. The Apple
download site provides a Combo Update which would be best to use:

Repair disk permissions afterward, shut down your Mac, then try the 11.5.1
update after starting up again.
