Error Message

Running MS FP 2000. Vista Machine

This error just started today. I have several accounts with GoDaddy and I
cannot get into any of them. I have emailed them. (waiting for response)

Load up the program, select the site i want to work on. Double click it. it
brings up the saved UN and pw. I hit enter. (The UN and PW are correct)

I then get this message:

" Could not find a web server at "www.mywebpage.com" on Port 80. Please
check to make sure that the web server name is valid and your proxy settings
are set correctly. if you are sure that everything is correct, the web server
may be temporarily out of service."

When I try and go to these sites on the web, they are coming up painfully
slow. Some not at all.

To me it looks like a problem ontheir end.

But, is there anything on my end that could be causing this that I can check??

Have you checked the Vista firewall settings to make sure FP has internet access?

Also, have you tried adding the sites to the trusted zone in Internet Explorer > Tools > Internet Options >
Security?

Thanks for the ideas.

I went and looked there and FP does not show up there at all.

I can't add the sites to the "Trusted" zone because it requires the to be an
https:// and these are just http://

In Tools->Internet Options - Security tab - Sites button,
Clear the checkbox labelled "Require server verification (https for
all sites in this zone"
