Error Message

When I open Project Professional, and click either connect or work
offline I recieve the following popup. I have added custom field to the
Global Enterprise Template and I haven't had this issue with any
others. I have looked in both the Global Enterprise Template and the
Template from MS Project Professional. I know I am missing something I
just can't figuire out what it is. Can anyone help?

Message:
The field name "ECD Delivery" cannot be copied becuase "Global (=cached
Enterprise)" already contains a field with that name. Do you want to
copy all other field attributes except the name to the "Date 1" field
in "Global (+ cached Enterprise)"?

I am able to duplicate your problem, which is caused by a custom field in
your personal Global.mpt file that is named the same as an enterprise custom
field in the Enterprise Global file. To solve this issue, do the following:

1. Launch Microsoft Project Professional
2. Select the "My Computer" account and then click the "Work Offline"
button
3. Click Tools - Organizer
4. Select the Fields tab
5. From the list on the left (fields in the Global.mpt) select the
same-named field
6. Click the Delete button to delete it
7. Click the Close button
8. Exit Microsoft Project Professional
9. Relaunch Microsoft Project Professional and log into Project Server
