I just got a new computer and have been trying to run/install Word but I keep
getting an error message that says my system is not presently configured to
run the application. I know that the version of word that I have goes with
the version of Windows that I have so that's not it. Can anyone explain this
to me or tell me how to "fix" the error?

Share some information with us such as what version of Windows you are
running and what version of Word you are trying to install. Are you
installing from a CD of Office or just Word?
