Hi Steve!

This sounds like your Entourage Database may be corrupt.

Quit Entourage and then launch it with the Option key held down. This
will open the Database Utility. Use this utility to verify/repair your
Database.

Hope this helps!

I am getting the same error when I try to drag messages to other folders
(just started all of a sudden) BUT i tried what was suggested and it found no
errors. I am able to move htem with the menus, just not by dragging them. Its
highly annoying! Any other ideas? I even restarted the computer but no dice.

Testing in a new User will quickly tell you if the problem is system wide or
if it's your User's folder that contains the problem.

Let us know what happens when you test in a new User in a blank Identity.

It happened in every user. But, it turns out it was a mac thing because I
quickly realized I had other issues going on (couldn't copy/paste, couldn't
drag/drop in any application, spotlight icon gone, etc.) Turns out that I had
to create a symlink via terminal with this command (ln -s /private/tmp/ /tmp)
and restart. That fixed all my issues. I guess something removed a necessary
symlink.

Anyway, just posting here to follow up and for posterity in case anyone else
has the same issue.
