error message

I'm recieving an error message when I try to access clip
art. My husband is a computer programmer and has no idea
what in the world is going on. He has unistalled and
reinsalled office 97 several times and even manually
deleted stuff. I've never had a problem with it until he
did some work with my computer in the spring.
Any clues as to what the problem could be and whether it
can be fixed?
This is the error message that I recieve:

"This clip collection is not designed for use with the
microsoft clip gallery"

This one can come from a corrupted Artgalry.cag file.
