error message

I have Windows 98 SE and MS office 2000 professional. I
get an error message when opening many folders that says:
Windows Installer
insert "System Files update" Disk
from MS OFFICE XP Professional
I do not have office XP Professional..
I have tried for weeks to fix this and do not know how to
vorrect this error. I would love some help
