error message

Hi... i am running windows 2000 pro, using avg anti-virus, when i try to
open it i get the message..

MEMORY ACCESS VIOLATION IN MODULE KERNEL32 AT 8975:12627273

I also get the same message displayed when i try and open zone alarm....
can anyone tell me what is wrong. Desperate as i cant get any anti-virus
software up and running!!!! where as it was ok yesterday.

It sounds like you have gotten a virus which disabled the functionality of
