Error Message

Access 2000

I have recieved the following error message whilst developing my database:

Microsoft Visual Basic :- Error Accessing File, Network connection may have
been lost

The database is locked up and the Microsoft Visual Basic screen pops up.

Can anyone help me restore my database to it's former glory
