Error messages in Word (Office XP Proffessional)

Ron Miller

After loading Office XP Professional on a Windows XP pc we
are receiving the following message when trying to edit a
word document:
"Word has insufficient memory. You will not be able to
undo this action once it is completed. Do you want to
continue?"

When "yes" is clicked the following message appears:

"There are too many edits in the document. The operation
will be incomplete. Save your work."

Can anyone please explain what causes this message as this
is a brand new PC. Are there settings in Word which could
be incorrect ?
Regards, Ron Miller.

I have the same problem, although it did not begin on XP (Professional) install. Rather, I just started getting the error messages, after doing nothing to my settings or Word. If anyone knows the answer to thhis problem, please reply to me in addition to Ron Miller. Thank
