Just installed Office 2007 Sm Business which includes Outlook 2007. I have
encountered some error messages. Sure is a shame Microsoft provides no
limited Free Tech Support...its left to the PC Manufacturer and they simply
do not have the expertise to help.
I get the "A data file did not close properly the last timeit was
used....etc"....then I see "data File check Completed". This error messages
continues to display about every 3rd or 4th time I open Outlook. I have run
Scanpst...which shows No Errors. I did Import my Outlook 2002 pst Data file
into Outlook 2007 after I created my E-amil acct and it connected to retrieve
new mail. I have run the Detect and Repair Tool, it showed no problems.
Anyone have a solution?
2rd question, as Outlook 2007 is closing, I see a small Window opening in
the center of the Window....it appears to be a message Window, but it
immediately closes with Outlook before it is possible to read. Any thoughts
what this message might be?
3rd question, I have Outlook 2007 set for "when new messages arrive in my
Inbox, PLAY A SOUND". When I open Outlook 2007....and new messages come in
on start-up I get no Sound. I do get sound when its open and a new message
comes in. Is this the way Outlook 2007 is designed? With 2002 you got a
sound even at Start-up.
