Error messages when you try to insert some Web Tools in Word 2003

Keith

Utilizing Microsoft Office Word 2003 to edit e-mail messages (insert sounds
into an e-mail (utilizing Outlook 2003), I get the following error message:

"This object was created in HTMLInlineSoundCtl. This application is not
available to open this object. Make sure the application is properly
installed and that it has not been deleted, removed or renamed."

Microsoft admits there's a problem with Word '02& '03. They state on their
website < http://support.microsoft.com/default.aspx?scid=kb;en-us;886299#kb2
that: "This behavior may occur after you install Microsoft Windows XP
Service Pack 2 (SP2). The security enhancements of Windows XP SP2 conflict
with some Web form controls."

Here's the kicker - they don't offer a soultion and or fix (?) Can someone
on this forum provide some help?

Thanks...Keith

No. The KB article you quoted is all we know. There is currently no
workaround.
