error messages

Error Message: A fatal exception 0E has occurred at
0028:C02A0948 in VXD VWIN32(05) + 000012D0

When shutting down my computer, I get this error message
and have to manually shut the computer off. Can anyone
tell me how to fix this problem, Checked Knowledge Base
and error message sites for Microsoft Windows 98, but
could not find this error message

What youre most likely looking at is an error resulting
from a bad card (either connection or hardware). Check
your network, modem, and sound card for any kind of
hardware conflicts under device manager. Make sure your
network card is also properly terminated. If there are
no conflicts, then look for another solution. Perhaps you
installed something recently which caused the issue.
