Error messages

Lately I have been getting the following error message
whenever I try to open any Word document.I do not know
how to resolve problem.
Error message: Word cannot open this document Template.
(C:\Program Files|...Startup\PALMAPP.DOT.
Doc is locke by another user.
HELP!!!!!

If you don't need PALMAPP.DOT (which is an add-in installed by your Palm
Pilot), remove it from the Startup folder.
