Error: Method 'Connection' of object '_CurrentProject' failed

I am trying to use the wizard to create a combo box on a
form and am getting the following error message:

Method 'Connection' of object '_CurrentProject' failed

I get the message immediately after selecting the desired
fields from an existing table.

Can anyone help? I tried repairing the db...but still am
getting the error msg.
