Error msg : "Compile error in hidden modules : Auto Exec"

When I open my word document, I get a pop up window with the following msg :
Compile error in hidden modules : Auto Exec"
What does this mean and how do I rectify it. Also, when I try to convert a
word file to PDF, i get a pop up saying macros is disabled, please enable
macros. How do i do this permanently. Thanks
