Error msg: No valid data source could be found for product DAO.

Using Access 2003, WinXP. Whenever I initially open Access and attempt to use
the Wizard to create a table, query, form etc. in a database, I get the
following messages: Please wait while windows configures DAO. This is
followed by error msg: Error 1706. No valid data source could be found for
product DAO. I click OK and the messages repeat. After clicking OK the second
or third time, the Wizard opens and everything works as advertised. I can
than proceed to work with any database. The error only occurs when I first
start Access.

Strange. I can't say that I've ever heard of this error, but I found the
following thread where the same error is reported for a Roxio product:

The resolution (http://forums.support.roxio.com/index.php?showtopic=2334)
apparently involves unregistering and then re-registering the DAO Object
Library. You might give it a try.
