Sounds like a memory issue. Either too many programs open at the same time,
not enough RAM or your virtual memory usage is not correctly set up. Let
Windows decide how much to use.
Not a memory issue but an Excel Bug. I get the same error message after save
but have plenty of memory available to Excel. This bug has been around since
Excel 97 and has been reported 'fixed' at various times only to reappear.
use Excel intensively and do complicated sheets, but have never had this
problem, so I do not know about the bug side!
