error notice, sbcyahoo email -- PLEASE HELP!

i went to connect my sbcglobal email address to the outlook, but errors keep
coming up!

error 0x800CC0F

it keeps saying the server wont respond and something about the email
address not verified, but when i went to sbcyahoo it said the email was
verified!

i am very frustrated and could really use some help!
