The internet security that I have is called "Trend Micro PC-cillin Internet
Security 12"

I am receiving the following error number 0X800420C8. I have tried going
to "Trend" to disable the scan on outgoing mail. However, mail that is
forwarded with attachments keeps getting sent repeatedly. What should I do?

Uninstall Trend and re-install it without any email scanning features; these
features are redundant, you do not need email scanning.

As Hal posted. Uninstall and then re-install without the option of the email integration

Norton,MacAfee and Trend are getting to be notorious with most email clients and their email scanning option which is redundant today since all resident AV clients will catch everything when something that is being tried to be opened and has an infector in it
